I've built businesses. Made plenty of mistakes. Changed direction more than once. Launched things that worked and things that very much didn't.
But what I've learned along the way?
Building something with God requires someone who understands both the work and the walk.
A few years ago I ran The Wholistic Collective. A membership and directory for holistic health practitioners. It was growing but quietly I was wrestling with how faith fit into the picture.
On a coaching call, I was asked what I needed to lay down to bring something new to life. I felt God speak to me about laying down The Wholistic Collective.
It felt like a crazy idea but beneath it was an undeniable peace. It felt like my Isaac moment, so I walked away with no clue what was next.
While I waited to find out, one verse kept showing up.
"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." - Isaiah 43:19
From there Spring Forth began.
What led me here
Over the years I've worked alongside people building businesses with God, and people building without Him.
The difference was never the website or the marketing.
It was what was underneath.
The questions they asked. The decisions they made. What they actually counted as success when things were going well and when things stopped going to plan.
What I noticed is that faith and strategy were never meant to be separate. Faith with no strategy will keep you stuck. While strategy without faith builds something you were never meant to carry.
The businesses that held up were the ones that let both in.
The work and the walk.
That's exactly why Spring Forth Co exists.
There was plenty of encouragement. Bible verses on business pages, prayers for your workday, someone reminding you God's got this. I love that stuff, I need it too. But none of it tells you what to actually do come Monday morning.
There was plenty of strategy too. Funnels, pricing, content calendars, people who knew how to grow a business but didn't bring God into the conversation.
What I couldn't find was someone who got that I needed both. Hearing from God didn't tell me what to do next and knowing what to do next didn't tell me if I was even hearing from Him.
You can know God gave you the idea and still have no idea how to turn it into something real. Just like you can pray about the direction and still need help figuring out your offer.
Those things aren't opposites. They were always meant to go together, and that's the kind of support I wanted to create.
